Private English Language Secondary School "Chelopech"/PELSS/ is one of the first private language schools in Bulgaria, established in 1995. It provides high quality of education and preparation of students. Some of the subjects are taught in English: History, Chemistry, Biology, Geography. The students study other foreign languages as well- German, Spanish and French. The school is situated in an industrial  region near the capital city of Sofia, because of the specific business of the company- owner of the school. The school belongs to “Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech” AD, one of the biggest mining companies in Bulgaria. The total number of students is 150.
The school tries to bring European standards of teaching and to involve the students in international projects. Currently we are running an Erasmus + KA1 project and three Asia-Europe Classroom Net online projects, administrated by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) that are related to intercultural dialogue, historical heritage and current global issues. We have experience in eTwinning international school projects and competitions organized by the European Commission.  From 2010 to 2012, the school coordinated three international projects administrated and funded by the Academy of the Central European Schools (ACES). These projects were in the field of conflict resolution, volunteering and media education.
